About Us
Marilyn Goldstein Moss is the owner and founder of the Kick It Up Boot Camp program. She holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Georgia and graduated with honors from Florida International University in Miami with a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology. Marilyn began her fitness career as an Instructor of Exercise Physiology at Florida International University, where she worked with students in a laboratory environment. She left the academic setting to become the Director of Exercise at the world renowned Pritikin Longevity Center in Miami, where she developed exercise and wellness programs and lectured to both clients and the community.
Marilyn relocated to Tampa in 1990 and founded LeanBody Personal Training, where her focus was on developing one-on-one personal training programs and maintaining the health and wellness of her clients. She continued to lecture and conduct seminars both for her individual clients and in workplaces throughout the Tampa Bay area and was profiled in the Tampa Tribune as one of Tampa Bay’s leading fitness trainers. Her expertise includes lectures on a wide range of topics, such as Preventing Lower Back Problems and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome; Food as Fuel/When and How to Eat for Optimal Performance; the Power of the Mind/Shaping the Mental Fame though Self-Talk and Visualization and Focus; and the Physical Strength/Cycles of Stress and Recovery. She is also a pilates certified trainer.
Marilyn is married to Craig and has 2 children, Andrew, 11 and Sophie 9, and has a 1-year-old Yorkie Poo named Socks. Marilyn’s greatest joy in life is her family. She also loves the outdoors, animals and music. Marilyn’s mission is to help all people add life to their years and years to their lives by spreading her wisdom and experience on the fun and health benefits that exercise and a healthy lifestyle can achieve.
